How Do You Delete Pictures From An Ipad?

For those who are wondering how do you delete pictures from ipad, and how to use an ipad effectively, there are a few options. You can either delete photos that are saved to the ipad, or you can manage the photos through itunes, which is likely to be the easiest option. Since there is no camera on the ipad yet, you have to use alternates to delete the saved images.

To delete photos that are saved on to the ipad, there are a few steps to follow. You will:
  • - open the photos that you want to delete;
  • - tap the arrow on the top right corner of the screen; and,
  • - select the photos that you want to delete.
This allows you to delete, as well as to manage the photos which are saved on to your ipad.

A second option for those who want to know how do you delete pictures from ipad, you can use itunes to delete the photos. If photos are synced to the ipad via itunes, you have to delete them using itunes as well (those photos that are synced with itunes and deleted from the ipad directly will reappear the next time you turn on the ipad). So, if you synced images on itunes, this is the method you are going to use to delete them as well.

These are the steps to follow:
  • - you will first plug your ipad in to your pc, and allow itunes to be pulled up on the screen;
  • - under devices, you will select the icon (or the word) for the ipad;
  • - you then select photos (on the top right corner of the screen in itunes);
  • - when doing these steps, you have to make sure the terms "synced" photos is checked;
  • - you will then select the tab which says: selected albums, faces, and events; and,
  • - lastly, you will check the albums, faces, and events that you want to sync on to the ipad.
 If you wish to delete a particular folder or image, you have to find the folder on your computer, and you have to delete it prior to syncing the ipad, in order to ensure those specific images are going to be deleted next time you start up your ipad.

Once you have synced all of the files, you will find that only the selected folders (which you chose to sync) are going to be on the ipad. Additionally, you can create new folders on your computer, and place the photos, images, events, and faces on to them (just as you would do when syncing music for your ipod).

Since there is no camera on the ipad yet, these are the only methods to go about deleting the images on the ipad. If they are synced via itunes, you are also going to have to delete them via itunes. You can also sync new folders, images, and faces or events which you want saved, and delete all other files that you do not want to keep on the ipad, while doing the sync process.
